Thore Schölermann and Jo Weil will be holding an online "virtual chat" session together, with and for their English speaking fans from around the world, using video and audio.

PLEASE NOTE:

The Virtual Chat was a success despite the fact the server failed for about 10 minutes. It was a success because we found out that more than 2,000 fans wanted so desparately to log into the chat to see "our boys", Thore and Jo.

We knew our server could handle the 350 people who registered but we did not anticipate the password would be posted on YouTube. This created a "bottleneck" situation because 2,000 people were trying to access an event they were not registered for.

The purpose of the password was not to keep people out. It was so we would know how many to let in. Had we known 2,000 devoted Ollian fans would be beating our door down then we would have added more servers : )

Nevertheless, both Thore and Jo are honored that so many English speaking fans want to see them. They willingly offered to do this again (once I get things in place).

Hang in there. The ride is just getting started. "We will be back."

You may notice there are two of each file on YouTube. The "New Audio" files are better than the previous files. I simply left the previous files online because people have linked to them.

If you want to download the file as an AVI and play it on your tv the simply right click on the link below and choose "Save target As" if you are using Internet Explorer or choose "Save Link As" if you are using FireFox.

If you left click on the link it will open and begin to play but because it is such a huge file (800 megs) it may take quite awhile before you can watch it. Depending on your Internet connection it may take you some time to download it. I downloaded it in about 30 minutes.

Thore Schölermann is Christian Mann and Jo Weil is Oliver Sabel on Germany's Verbotene Liebe (Forbidden Love).

Thanks to the Internet and some dedicated fans who subtitle Christian's and Oliver's storyline and post it on YouTube, Thore Schölermann and Jo Weil have become household names in many English speaking countries.

The video to the right, posted by YouTube user ichglotzutube, has been viewed over 320,139 times. In this scene Christian surrenders to his feelings that he can no longer deny he has fallen in love with Oliver. My heart be still. This scene captured the hearts of heterosexual and gay people from around the world. The story continues to attract new viewers.

Kudos to the writers and producers for bravely telling this story. The fans are humbly grateful.

Now, through this never-before-event, English speaking fans have an opportunity to meet the actors behind the Christian and Olli storyline, Thore Schölermann and Jo Weil.

Fans will be able to log into a Virtual Chat room on this web site to see and hear Thore Schölermann and Jo Weil through LIVE video and audio from Germany. It will be just like being there with them. Visitors will have nothing to download and nothing to install. They simply need to register and then login to a special page on this site on the day of the event.

Fans with microphones connected to their computers will have a chance to talk to Thore Schölermann and Jo Weil to ask them questions. People without a microphone will be able to text their questions to either Thore or Jo.

Participation in this event is limited. Interested fans must pre-register using the form on the right. Upon receipt of registration fans will be forwarded to a page where they can submit their questions (one for Thore Schölermann, one for Jo Weil and one for both). If your question is chosen to be asked then you will be given the opportunity to ask only one of your questions

provided you have a microphone connected to your computer. Please choose your question(s) carefully.
